Reigning Miss Universe Jimena “Ximena” Navarrete Rosete of Mexico is in Delhi as part of a charity programme .During her stay, she will actively campaign for designer Sanjana Jon’s Celebrate the Girl Child programme, which aims at preventing female foeticide.The beauty queen said it's a privilege for her to partake in the girl child camaign."Through my celebrity status, I want to convince people to give the girl child a proper education and therby help her become independent in life," she said.During her 10-day visit, she will meet Bollywood actor Salman Khan too.
